Gayle Certeza, MA, is a nomad at heart. She loves every aspect of traveling–tourist, expat, and even as an immigrant. Her career reflects the same itinerant spirit spanning seven companies and three countries, and includes local and international advertising awards. As an entrepreneur, she co-owns Adspin Advertising Inc. and Digital Spin, and runs her own publishing company, Certeza & Sons, in the Philippines.
Also a nerd at heart, Ms. Certeza has an MA in creative writing and an MA in developmental communication from the University of the Philippines. She also has an MA in depth psychology and creativity from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California, a Jungian coaching certification from the Jungian Coaching School based in Israel, and is a PhD candidate in applied cosmic anthropology from the Asian Graduate Institute in Manila.
Ms. Certeza is the author of: Baht, Boots and Gandhi, a collection of travel essays; I Do, I Don’t, about marital and the single life (co-written with Gina Verdolaga); and the Vessel of Voices series, including A Filipino Memoir Anthology and Pandemic Pause. She is also a contributor to Exploring Depth Psychology and the Female Self: Feminist Themes from Somewhere, a book of feminist academic essays. Ms. Certeza recently published her memoir, A Woman Unboxed and Other Stories of Growing Up.
