Dean Taraborelli is the founder, administrator, and counselor at The Sanctuary at Sedona. He has a BA in political science and is currently senior teaching staff at Four Winds Society, an international school of energy medicine. His credentials also include being an ordained minister; a certified Shamanic Breathwork® Facilitator; a founding member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners; a member of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology; a member of the National Institute for Holistic Addiction Studies. Dean has traveled extensively to sacred sites in over 60 countries to study world mythology, religion, spirituality, wisdom traditions, and indigenous healing and wellness practices.
Mr. Taraborelli is passionate about mental health and addiction recovery. His dedication is rooted in his own quest to break free of addiction and recovery into "being recovered." This journey took him through standard institutional approaches, leading him to explore numerous countries in search of healing modalities outside of the Western medical paradigm. Mr. Taraborelli learned many earth based healing traditions, including shamanism, which became the vehicle for his own transformation. This led to the creation of The Sanctuary at Sedona, the only mental health facility of its kind.
Mr. Taraborelli’s transformation into wellness was deeply rooted in the tradition of energy medicine, vibrational chemistry, noetic biology, and quantum physics. To heal at the core cellular level, he realized he must work at the level of energy, as energy organizes all matter including sickness, in the mind and body. These techniques have been known and used worldwide for millennia and have just recently become more accepted in Western culture. Modern scientific evidence continues to validate the undeniable evidence of the effectiveness and profound power of energetic healing. An integral part of the process is helping people to discover their connection to nature which helps them understand their inner nature. Through this process, it is imperative that each person understands their relationship to nature and the earth, ultimately being of service to the earth.
Because of Mr. Taraborelli’s own dramatic and profound healing experience and life transformation, he was inspired and called to create a place where others can do the same. That place is The Sanctuary at Sedona.
